Amazon.jp haul.  I shouldn’t be this excited about getting volumes of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, BUT I AM.  You Higuri and est em are only there so that the manliness doesn’t bust out of the box completely.

Mutuality: CLAMP Works in Code Geass.  I do like the art for this series, if not the story.  Plus, it’s nice to see Subaru, Fuma, and Kamui again.  I’ll take what I can get when it comes to those three.

CLAMP doesn’t “count” this as an artbook, I suppose since it doesn’t go with one of their manga series.  But the book is worth it for the CLAMP color illustrations, which it is full of.  It took me a long time to decide whether or not to buy this.  I do collect all the CLAMP artbooks, and since this isn’t “technically” one… well.  But I was satisfied when it arrived.

Kobato just came out with an artbook, too.  Gonna have to pick that up soon.

CLAMP’s Album de Reproductions 2, the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle artbook.  I do like the art for this series, if not the story.  Plus, it’s nice to see Subaru, Fuma, and Kamui again.  I’ll take what I can get when it comes to those three.

Nostalgia, the Tsukiji Nao artbook.  BEAUTIFUL.  I paid through my teeth for shipping on this, and it was totally worth it.  Most of the book isn’t Adekan, but interesting spot illustrations for other work.

Box ‘o artbooks that came from Japan last week.  Couldn’t hold off on this order because I wanted that Nao Tsukiji artbook BAD.  Also, I think that hardcover edition of Tsubasa was down to its last copy.  As much as I hated the ending, it would be a shame to have all but the last two volumes in the super-nice editions.
Mutuality: CLAMP Works in Code Geass // Tsubasa: Album de Reproductions 2 // Nostalgia: Nao Tsukiji Artbook // Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Deluxe Edition volume 26.

More work haul: Clint Eastwood: Icon - ISBN 1933784962.

A collection of film poster art for all his movies, from A Fistful of Dollars through Grand Torino.  There’s some fantastic art in here, but the Peter Max poster for Paint Your Wagon was what sold me.

More work haul: The Art of Harvey Kurtzman, ISBN 0810972964.  A great cartoonist, and very interesting to see his strangely wide range of work all in one book like this.  Begins with his early comic art, ends with Little Annie Fannie.  My favorite parts were the bits about the various ’60s humor magazines he illustrated for.
